IT Program / Program Manager

Principal functions and responsibilities:

• Planning, execution and monitoring programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
• Managing the program budget and schedule
• Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities
• Aligning or realigning the deliverables of the project with the overall program outcomes
• Report directly to the Head of IT PMO, taking on the responsibility of overseeing all IT-related
• projects and programs in Germany
• Apply change, risk and resource management
• Assess program performance
• Resolve projects’ higher-scope issues
• Prepare reports for PMO and SteerCos

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects in international context
• Solid background and practical experience across all types of PM methodologies
• Certification in PM (PMP, PgMP, etc.) is a strong advantage
• Excellent knowledge of MS Project, Jira; working knowledge of program/project management software and PPM tools (PPM Express, Project Server, Plan View etc.)
• Excellent English skills, fluent in German
• Good leadership and organizational skills
• Communication skills and problem-solving ability
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Openness to travel internationally
